This collage is for the 'Mixed Media Monday' challenge 'By the Sea'. This came together really quickly for me, since I knew I wanted one of my watercolor backgrounds and I had already chosen the clip art. I used a bit of tatting I've made and some stickers and a swirly rubber stamp. I love water colors, there is something about the depth of color, yet it is dreamy...that appeals to me so much. I overstamped color around the edges of the water on the clip art too. If you've come by thanks for visiting.

I love the beautiful watercolor background! I also like how you cut out the swirl stamps. I've cut out other stamps, but would not have thought of swirls.
Oh wow this is absolutely awesome.
Wonderful card. Love this.
This is beautiful! I especially love your background.
Oh Maggie! This is sooo beautiful - it's pleasant to look at, making the viewer feel the flavor of the ocean, the warm summer air, and the simplicity that life can possess. I love the modest bathing suits on the swimmers, too.
gorgeous! I love the background work.. and I adore the colours! well done
I do love the colors. The background is beautiful.
I love the combination of watercolor and collage. I've been experimenting a lot lately with this too. Your card is so lovely!
Maggie Ann, I haven't heard from you for a long time. I hope all is well.

Really really beautiful Maggie Anne. You and I both love this dreamy watercolour effect equally I think. This is a gorgeous example, and I love the composition you created.
