The 'Wednesday Stamper' Challenge, 'Enchanted Spring'

Every spring we get a bird that builds her nest on the ledge outside our bathroom window. So, here is my 'Enchanted Spring' collage ( please click to enlarge) for the 'Wednesday Stamper' using a 'bird' rubber stamp. I stamped her on the page of an old hymnal, so she is filled with sweet songs to the Lord. The background is stamping on watercolor paper over dry wall tape, with watercolors & acrylics, plus some sanding with sandpaper. I drew the nest, and used some clipart cutouts to finish. I always finish by taping the collage on to matboard, it makes it sturdy and easy to display or store.

Just for fun, I switched my original collage to black & white. It amazed me how different the tones and variety of interest proved to be. I almost like it better!
