Wednesday Stamper Challenge

The 'Wednesday Stamper' challenge for this week is to make a Two inch by four inch piece of art..using at least one stamp. The stamp I used was from the 'dollar' bin at Michael's craft store. It has tiny swirls on it...as soon as my hubby picked it out for me to see...I really liked it. That went on top of a dictionary page, an overlay and a bit of a novel page. Color that with a bit of yellow and some gesso and here's my bit of art.

You know...I was thinking, what are the rules...what elements put together a balanced collage. I've been out of the loop for a while and sometimes my efforts at collage are bad...then I sort of 'happen' to get one I'm happy with. Maybe I need to go read tutorials but...time....time...where does it go? =)
