Last week at Mixed Media Monday...there was a blue and purple challenge. I missed the deadline but have the satisfaction of knowing I actually made a collage for a change =)...so am posting it on my own collage blog. It was a hard challenge...especially coming from my spinning wheel and having had many 'yarn' thoughts spinning in my head. I used blue and purple acrylics on the background, spread with a spackling tool. Script stamps and clip art..plus pastels.

This is so lovely and feminine. You've used the most beautiful shades of purple and blue.

I just stopped by and enjoyed the view. Do you make a collage everyday in a small spiral notebook? Just trying to figure it out. It is all very pretty.

you really have a talent. My question is also the same as Grammy's, do you do this every day? It's really a neat thing you do.

Hi,
As Heather mentioned, this piece is so feminine looking, plus it has that "vintage" look as well.
Thanks for sharing.

This is charming Maggie Ann. I am always so intrigued by your creations and wish I knew how to do what you do! For now, I'll just enjoy the looking - for it is a joy indeed!

i absolutely love all your collages. where do you et the ideas. i must be absolutely clueless or abstract about making these things. i guess it would help to take a course or something. but they are really lovely. i enjoyed looking at them.....
